So, Logan's been given more attention, which I why I think he's going to die in the next few episodes.

They've escaped the facility, we know this, they're on the run being chased down. They see a train, and just like with Tyler's death, someone says it's a bad idea. Are they going to listen? No. No they aren't.

I think he's going to fall off the train, get dragged off the train by phantoms, or get shot by the facility containment guards.

Think about it, it's dark out so it could be nearing midnight. They get on the train, (Logan a step away) and then it gets shifted to the phantom realm. Logan passes out in the real world, allowing them to take him back to the facility when time moves again. (This also gives us a POV to see what happens to Charlie, Alex, Ryan, Jasmine, the parents, maverick etc) And in the phantom realm he dies, because he's a step behind and that gives the phantoms enough leeway to catch him, drag him, and do whatever they've been meaning to do to the kids since day 1.

All I know is beachy is going to have a feilds day (get it, a pun on Logan's last name?)

Okay so what is, in your opinion, the most overlooked danger with sinking boats? What do people not realize or know to look out for? What unexpectedly killed the most?

I think, for most people, an overlooked danger would be fire. Here' the TSMS Lakonia:

Not only do you have the danger of going overboard (drowning, freezing, etc.) you now have the dangers of burning and smoke inhalation. On top of that, depending on the cargo on board, there is also the danger of explosion. This is best represented in the Halifax Explosion . It killed over 1700 people while docked after a collision, and decimated the surrounding town after it exploded.

In the instance of the General Slocum, if the ship doesn't stop/stop in time, the wind can fan the flame and make it worse.

In terms of unexpected death, it definitely isn't the most of all time but I would put forth the SS Eastland as must unexpected. There have been a few instances of ships being absurdly unbalanced, but in the case of the SS Eastland, it sank while docked, was full to the brim with passengers, and rolled over on its side. Over 800 people died. It was simply too top heavy and had too many passengers on it.
